Designed by Ann Hand, often referred to as The Nation’s Jeweler, this brooch has been worn on the shoulders of First Ladies, Ambassadors, Senators, Congresswomen, celebrities and leaders in the fields of Arts, Science, Business and the Armed Forces. The Liberty Eagle Pin has a ruby eye and a 14mm faux shell-based pearl and measures. This piece measures 1 1/2# X 1 3/8”.
For over thirty five years, Ann has designed custom jewelry and gifts for many of our government’s revered institutions including The White House, the United States Congress, The Departments of State, Defense, and Justice, the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, and the American Red Cross. She has also designed custom jewelry for four Presidential Libraries. In 2016, she introduced the Presidential Collection of table top items exclusively for the White House Historical Association.
